VDCO Tech Inc. currently has openings for BIM/VDC Managers, Modelers, and Project Managers, with AEC industry experience. VDCO Tech Inc. is a progressive BIM/VDCO service provider and owner agent specializing in building information modeling, management and LEAN processes. VDCO Tech works with Owners, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle for a large variety of building types. Send us your resume! Project Manager candidate objective is to support established VDC initiatives leveraged by project teams both in the office and field as needed. These positions require knowledge of Design and Construction and should include experience sufficient to manage multi-trade construction coordination efforts on medium to large projects. Candidate must demonstrate leadership and organizational skills sufficient to operate with minimal supervision. Minimum 5-10 years of BIM/VDC, AEC industry experience. RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for successful deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platform(s) / solutions on projects · Work with project teams to establish a BIM/VDC execution strategy and provide project specific VDC support and subject matter expertise. · Manage project specific BIM/VDC strategies and scope with Owners, General Contractors and project team. · Managing successful implementation of current best practices and high standards for an effective VDC delivery · Work collaboratively with the project team to develop the design coordination schedule to support the master schedule development. Monitor, update and revise the design coordination schedule to reflect design deliverables, overall progress and construction commitments/milestones · Manage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC applications and processes in addition VDC deliverables · Prepare, monitor and update visual plans and/or 4D simulations of master and phase schedules · Manage and support VDC Engineer(s) where needed · Oversee that each project is utilizing the Project VDC Execution Plan and adhering to the project's contractual requirements · Provide guidance and support with contract language for BIM scopes; develop preconstruction subcontractor procurement templates and exhibits for BIM/VDC buyout · Create initial project setup with workflow documents · Define and communicate project goals and milestones · Facilitate project kick-off meetings and follow-up activities · Work as part of a project team to achieve consistent results PREFERRED EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture · Working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud · Working knowledge of design industry workflows and production cycles · Working knowledge of COBie / Data Integration · Working knowledge of project management software · Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word and Excel, Database Systems and other basic office/administrative software · Strong writing and communication skills · Detail oriented with exceptional organization and analytical skills and the ability to interact and work with others as a team EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time YEARS EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years WORK LOCATION: Remote VDCO Tech offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a positive work environment.
