Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Gathering and collecting information from various sources, including employees, departments, and clients, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our databases.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details and correcting errors to optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases to ensure seamless data management.
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner to facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handling additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the team and drive business success.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1+ years' experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees, departments, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient touch-typing skills and a strong command of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience with data entry software and systems, such as CRM or ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field.
