This role involves supporting the leader's vision, ensuring efficient operations, and enhancing organizational effectiveness by coordinating priorities, managing high-level initiatives, and acting as a key point of communication between the leader and internal or external stakeholders. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely

  • from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the leader to define and execute strategic priorities
  • Monitor organizational performance and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Lead or oversee cross-functional initiatives and special projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the leader, offering insights, recommendations, and analysis
  • Represent the leader in meetings or events when necessary
  • Ensure that the executive's time, resources, and focus are aligned with the organization's priorities
  • Manage the executive's schedule, workflow, and communication to ensure efficiency
  • Drive operational improvements and resolve bottlenecks across teams or departments
  • Facilitate communication across departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for the executive
  • Anticipate potential challenges or risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align resources with organizational goals
  • Leadership: Solid ability to influence and lead without direct authority
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey priorities and build relationship
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to address challenges and recommend solutions
  • Emotional Intelligence: Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex relationships
  • Time Management: Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage the executive's time effectively

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (Master's degree often preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in leadership, operations, or strategy roles
  • 4+ years proven track record of working closely with senior executives
  • Industry-specific knowledge may be required depending on the organization

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
