What You'll Do

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the accurate input, organization, and maintenance of critical business data across our enterprise systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Data Input & Processing: Perform accurate input of customer information, account data, and financial records from various source documents, including text-based and numerical information in both digital and physical formats.
  • Information Organization: Organize incoming information according to established priorities to prepare source data for efficient computer entry, ensuring optimal workflow and quick information retrieval when needed.
  • Research & Verification: Conduct thorough research to find additional information when source documents are incomplete, filling in gaps to ensure comprehensive and accurate database entries.
  • Quality Assurance: Review all data for deficiencies, errors, or incompatibilities, making necessary corrections and verifying output accuracy before finalizing entries in our systems.
  • System Optimization: Utilize appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting & Storage: Prepare detailed reports as required, store completed work in designated secure locations, and perform regular backup operations to prevent data loss.
  • Document Management: Handle scanning, printing, and proper filing of documents, maintaining an organized physical and digital document repository.
  • Information Requests: Respond to queries from internal teams and stakeholders requesting information, locating and providing access to relevant files promptly and professionally.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies regarding data integrity and security, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive corporate information at all times.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment, including scanners, printers, and specialized data entry hardware, reporting any technical issues promptly to the IT department.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working in a Data Entry Operator, Administrative Clerk, or similar position handling confidential information and high-volume data processing.
  • Administrative Expertise: Solid experience with general administrative duties, including document management, file organization, and office equipment operation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data management software, database systems, and enterprise resource planning tools.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with the ability to interpret and accurately transcribe complex information.
  • Typing Abilities: Demonstrated high typing speed (typically 50+ words per minute) with exceptional accuracy to ensure error-free data entry.
  • Attention to Detail: Close attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or errors in data sets and resolve them effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training, certifications in data management, or related credentials will be considered a significant advantage.
