Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for handling Tier 1 customer calls, emails, and voice mails, providing exceptional service, and troubleshooting technical issues. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering customer questions and requests for supplies, service, and troubleshooting 1st-level technical issues via inbound calls and/or voice mails, emails, and alerts.
  • Providing clear and concise communications and following up with customers on company schedules, requested lead, and delivery times.
  • Working with the Tier 2 team to seamlessly pass escalated customer technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Tracking, routing, and escalating unresolved issues to management.
  • Remaining current on constant process updates and technology used within the company.
  • Performing duties with awareness and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Performing other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A reliable internet connection (this is a must-have for this role).
  • Experience in a call center environment (a plus, but not required).
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Order processing systems, and Contact Management systems.
  • The ability to empathize with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • The ability to multi-task (i.e., talking and typing simultaneously) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet skills.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills with a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
  • The ability to navigate through multiple systems.
