Job Summary
As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading our Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating online threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse. You'll also oversee the Business Investigation group, which produces insights, estimates uncaught badnesses, and distributes transparency reports for nations worldwide. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business growth, innovation, and user safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating online threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse
- Oversee the Business Investigation group, producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing transparency reports for nations worldwide
- Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
- Develop and implement effective functional execution, ensuring high-quality results and service levels in a global team working 24x7
- Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times, providing data-driven insights and executing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and user safety, driving business growth and innovation through data-driven decision-making
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 4-year certification or equivalent experience in a related field
- 2 years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying data-driven insights
- 2 years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models
- 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks as accelerations require
- Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) is highly desirable
- Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities is highly desirable
- Proficiency in SQL/R/Matlab is highly desirable
- Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
- Strong business judgment, critical, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action in a rapidly changing industry
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with generative AI and its applications in online security
- Experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience working with machine learning algorithms and models
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
