Remote Public Relations Manager - Tech Industry

Our client, a fast-growing technology firm, is looking for a creative and results-driven Remote Public Relations Manager to elevate its brand presence and manage its media relations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies designed to increase brand awareness, enhance reputation, and drive engagement with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and the general public. Your role will involve crafting compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials, pitching stories to relevant journalists and publications, and managing media inquiries. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers, both nationally and internationally. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring media coverage, identifying opportunities for positive press, and managing potential crises with a calm and strategic demeanor. Collaboration with internal marketing, social media, and product teams will be crucial to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution. You will also play a key role in preparing spokespeople for media interviews and tracking the effectiveness of PR campaigns through relevant metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, preferably within the technology sector. Proven success in developing and implementing successful media relations strategies, strong media pitching skills, and an excellent understanding of the media landscape are essential. You should have a robust network of media contacts and a portfolio showcasing successful PR campaigns. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment are required. A passion for technology and a keen understanding of current trends in media and communications are highly desirable.
