Salary Information Department Summary The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas, distinguished as one of the few Tier One research universities designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities, and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, public health, and urban planning. Graduates practice in a variety of areas including integrated healthcare settings, hospice, substance abuse treatment, mental health, child welfare, aging, criminal justice, veterans, military and first responders, and more. Position Summary The Department of Social Work in the College of Health & Public Service invites applications for a professional track, full-time Clinical Assistant Professor and BSW Program Director. In addition to administrative program oversight, teaching responsibilities include undergraduate level courses in social work, with possible teaching responsibilities in the graduate program. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to engage in high-quality and innovative instruction in both traditional and non-traditional formats; serve as appropriate on department, college, university and professional committees; engage in scholarly and professional activities; and work with students from diverse backgrounds. Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited Social Work program and a minimum of two years full-time professional practice experience (post-Master's degree);
• Experience teaching social work courses in an accredited program;
• Experience with online/hybrid/remote instruction

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or DSW)
• Experience teaching multiple courses across the social work curriculum
• Active licensure (LMSW or LCSW) in the state of Texas
