The Role
As a full stack software engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from web and mobile applications to cloud-based platforms and services. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and Scala
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to identify and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team
- Contribute to the development of arenaflex's technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth
Authority and Leadership
As a senior member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and experience to help them grow and develop. You'll also have the chance to contribute to the development of arenaflex's technical strategy, working closely with our leadership team to shape the future of our company.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web and cloud applications
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and Scala, with experience in cloud-based platforms and services
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data science concepts, with experience in Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
- Experience with UNIX shell scripting and data pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, with a strong focus on continuous integration and delivery
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Experience with microservices and containerization
- Experience with Kafka streams or lines
- Experience with GitHub or Bitbucket, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Couchbase, or MongoDB
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with a passion for learning and growth
