Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our digital database. You'll be responsible for entering and updating data, verifying and correcting discrepancies, and reconciling vendor statements to invoices. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

• Entering and updating data in database systems with speed and accuracy
• Verifying and correcting data discrepancies or errors
• Maintaining data integrity
• Retrieving and organizing electronic files from designated websites
• Reconciling vendor statements to invoices
• Additional responsibilities as supervisor may assign

Desired Attributes

While we're looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in data entry, we also value the following attributes:

• Some accounting knowledge is helpful but not required
• Working knowledge of Great Plains is desired but not required
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge in Excel
• Type 45 accurate words per minute or more
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet team goals
• Ability to analyze and apply company policies and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a group environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High school diploma
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
• General understanding of accounting functions
• Detail-oriented while maintaining high productivity
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Proven ability to solve complex problems
• Basic ability in Microsoft Excel
• Type 45wpm

Work Environment

As a remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. You'll be required to work more than 40 hours, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll also need to be able to sit for extended periods of time and have extensive use of a computer monitor and keyboard.

Compensation

You'll be compensated with a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, with expected hours of 40 per week.
