Job Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will:

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable data systems that meet the needs of our data architects and end-users.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, data services, and microservices to support data exchange and integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools and techniques, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or other AI-related technologies.

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration, and deployment tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with data streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka or Apache Flink.
  • Experience with data science tools, such as Jupyter Notebook, pandas, or NumPy.
