FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC

Location: Remote - USA

This position is fully remote because this person will be dispatched from home and be required to travel from job site to job site.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Field Service Mechanic to join our fast-growing team. This individual should be able to maintain confidentiality and have high level of mechanical aptitude. This candidate must be safety orientated, analytical, perceptive, with a critical thinking mindset. The individual should have effective communication skills and be self-motivated

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation: Setting up new equipment and ensuring it operates correctly.
  • Maintenance: Performing proactive service checks and preventative maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing issues with malfunctioning equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying problems and implementing solutions to restore equipment functionality and reduce downtime.
  • Customer support: Providing technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand how to use and maintain their equipment.
  • Documentation: Keeping detailed records of services performed, assets used, and customer interactions.
  • Travel: Frequently going to various customer sites to provide on-site service.

  • Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry.
  • Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC and mechanical needs.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position reports to the Field Service Superintendent.
