They are seeking an experienced Administrative Support professional responsible for setting up new claim files, handling documentation, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring efficient communication with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review new loss information
  • Set up new claim files in the claim system
  • Generate and prepare initial acknowledgement letter
  • Communicate with other administrative staff via email, phone and Teams
  • Maintain accuracy in recording and updating information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Experience in a service-oriented business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
  • Ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining high quality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with PDF editor software
  • Understanding of basic insurance terminology
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry
