[Remote] Flex Loan Specialist - Kansas City Area
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Veterans United Insurance is dedicated to helping Veterans and military families become homeowners. As a Loan Specialist, you will guide Veterans and Service Members through their VA home loan benefit, managing their pipeline and ensuring a smooth loan process.
Responsibilities
- Connecting with borrowers, learning about their goals, and guiding conversations that help them confidently move forward with the right VA loan option
- Reviewing credit and financial information to thoughtfully match borrowers with solutions that fit their needs and set them up for success
- Walking borrowers through each step of the loan process—setting clear expectations, answering questions, and helping secure strong rates and terms
- Staying organized and proactive in managing your pipeline so each borrower receives timely follow-up and a smooth experience
- Collaborating closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to keep things moving and deliver a positive, seamless borrower experience
Skills
- NMLS licensed (we can help you get that when you start)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline

- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours
- Ability to work at least 32 weekend hours per month
- Ability to work 2 nights a week until 10PM
- Mortgage experience
