About the Role
As a Google Ads Strategist at Stryker Digital, you’ll be the strategic and tactical lead for paid search campaigns across our home service clients. Manage a portfolio of home service accounts with standardized systems and support. Working directly with business owners to launch, scale, and optimize campaigns that deliver measurable ROI. This is not just another ad buyer role. You’ll be at the frontline of client relationships, from onboarding to weekly optimizations to monthly strategy reviews. You’ll write compelling copy, manage ad budgets, oversee creative direction, and ensure our campaigns are profitable-fast. With the Google Ads department still being built, you’ll have direct ownership over how paid search is run, scaled, and systemized across the company. This is not a maintenance role - you’ll help define standards, processes, and what ‘great’ looks like as we grow.
Responsibilities
Client Management: Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, communicating via Slack, video, and email. Google Ads Execution: Build, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Local). Ad Copywriting: Write high-converting headlines and descriptions tailored to home service prospects. Performance Reviews: Lead monthly video calls to walk clients through performance, discuss strategy, and upsell when appropriate. Onboarding: Guide new clients through the onboarding process and collaborate with internal teams to launch campaigns fast. Reporting & Analysis: Present data in a way that highlights business outcomes, not just vanity metrics. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal landing page designers, conversion tracking specialists, and leadership team. What We’re Looking For 2+ Years of Experience: Google Ads experience required, preferably working with local service businesses or inside a digital agency. Client-Facing Skills: You’ve led strategy calls, handled objections, and built real relationships. Performance Obsessed: You know how to stretch a budget, drive conversions, and scale what works. Detail-Oriented: You can juggle multiple accounts without dropping a ball-and your Slack messages and reports are polished. Growth-Minded: You’re looking to take ownership, grow with a high-performing team, and make your mark in a fast-scaling department.
