The Role

As a Senior Manager, Customer Strategic Insights, you will be responsible for leading category management and guest insights projects, working closely with the Growth, Customer Marketing, and Sales organizations. Your primary focus will be on developing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities for our customers, categories, and arenaflex. This will involve:

  • Leading by example with FSOP analytics/data asset tools and resources
  • Storytelling on the state of FSOP category and customer landscape with our customer teams
  • Focusing on strategic and informed customer business planning, ongoing customer commitment, and assortment strategies with key portfolio customers
  • Syncing with human insights, retail category leadership, planning & strategy departments, and our broader customer value and growth department for consistent messaging
  • Aligning with platform services, retail category leadership, and human insights to assure NAOU remains at the forefront of analytic/data assets in FSOP

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute category management and guest insights projects to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and internal partners
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to the organization on customer insights and market trends
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth

Essential Qualifications

* 8+ years of work experience in the CPG industry, preferably in a customer insights or market research role

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Strong analytical, project management, and storytelling skills
  • Experience with primary research projects and budgets
  • Familiarity with Foodservice and On-Premise industry
  • Proven track record of delivering sustainable results
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Coca-Cola Foodservice data sources and subscribed platforms

  • Willingness to learn new tools and solutions
  • Leadership experience in fielding primary qualitative and quantitative research
  • Advanced strategic thinking, including framing of issues, solutions, and paths to implementation
  • Business planning experience, inclusive of corporate and customer needs/considerations
  • Ability to collaborate with key internal/external cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize high-leverage opportunities

Technical/Functional Skills

* Heavy usage of Coca-Cola Foodservice data sources and subscribed platforms (Dine, CBL, NPD, Datassential, Technomic, Mintel, Euromonitor)

  • Willingness to learn new tools/solutions and become an active ambassador of new programs
  • Leadership of fielding primary qualitative and quantitative research
  • Advanced strategic thinking, including framing of issues, solutions, and paths to implementation
  • Business planning, inclusive of corporate and customer needs/considerations
  • Highly analytical, incorporating market and customer research, financials, customer & sales team feedback
  • Ability to collaborate with key internal/external cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize high-leverage opportunities
  • Effective communication & building relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to champion initiatives end-to-end
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
