IT SPECIALIST- HYBRID TN
Apis Services, Inc. is a company providing shared services to its affiliates. They are seeking an IT Support Specialist to monitor and maintain software programs, diagnose and repair hardware, and administer network functions while ensuring compliance and training staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain current software programs
- Implement new and update old software programs
- Work with Software vendor to assure compliance of same
- Maintain network functions and problem solve as required
- Learn new programs, and train/monitor staff
- Ensure licensing of all new software programs
- Assist the Technical Operations Manager to purchase and set up new and existing software programs
- Review and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of software purchases and updates
- Diagnose, repair, and replace malfunctioning hardware components, including desktop, laptop, printer and peripherals
- Make recommendations for new hardware and assist in the contract negotiations with computer technology companies
- Monitor and update system as necessary to avoid problems
- Problem solve PC applications and offer training to support staff
- Ensure registration and/or licensing compliance with all PC applications
- Assist the Technical Operations Manager purchase and maintain new and existing hardware
- Review and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of hardware purchases and updates
- Develop and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Administer Windows- based network and infrastructure
- Administer remote connections
- Perform all user administration tasks
- Administer security systems
- Manage, configure, and maintain communications equipment
- Support Enterprise Technologies
Skills
- Associate degree or Technical Certifications
- One (1) to Three (3) years in Information Technology or related field
- Strong customer service orientation with proven accomplishments
- Excellent computer skills and background to include: Microsoft Operating Systems, O365/M365 Suite, Adobe systems, Database fundamentals, Azure AD, AV Software
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Team Player
- Current driver's license, driver registration and a functional vehicle
- Has knowledge of each program
- Individual must be able to meet physical requirements of the job: Sitting at a meeting table or desk – Reaching – Lifting – Bending – Standing – Stooping – Twisting – Climbing steps - Driving a vehicle
