Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Representative to join our team on a 3-month contract with potential for extension. As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, and identifying and resolving eligibility edits. Key Responsibilities
* Enter claims in compliance with established procedures and meet production and quality standards
- Identify and resolve eligibility edits
- Refer all other edits to Claims Examiners
- Work with multiple monitors and navigate through various software systems
- Enter data into data management systems with high accuracy and efficiency
- Meet daily metrics and adapt to daily/weekly changes
- Prioritize work assigned and respond to calls and emails throughout the workday
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data entered
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the insurance and financial products industry
- Strong background in working with data management systems and software applications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with insurance products, such as medical or dental
- Experience working with provider data demographics
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
- Ability to work with multiple monitors and navigate through various software systems
- Experience in a production work environment
- Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to daily/weekly changes
- Reliable and self-managed individual with excellent time management skills
