Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, maintaining data quality, and providing exceptional customer service. Work Environment
As a remote Data Entry Clerk, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with minimal supervision. You will be required to work in the Central Standard Time (CST) zone and maintain a regular schedule of 8am-5pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm. While flexibility is encouraged, you must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week to meet the business needs.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including data entry, updates, and deletions
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless data entry and processing
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies and procedures
- Staying up-to-date with software applications, systems, and processes, and providing feedback for improvement
Top Must-Have Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain a regular schedule
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications, systems, and processes
Top Nice-to-Have Skills
While not essential, the following skills would be beneficial:
- Experience in retail, customer service, or a related field
