Position Overview

We are hiring a Director, Marketing Operations to own the operational infrastructure behind Spiro’s marketing function across Brand and Brand Activation & Events (BAE).

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, this role is responsible for budget management, vendor coordination, reporting, and day-to-day marketing operations. This person ensures campaigns execute on time, spend is tracked, and leadership has visibility into marketing performance.

Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Workflow

  • Serve as the operational point of contact for cross-functional marketing requests
  • Manage timelines, workflows, and prioritization across marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure delivery and resolve gaps before they escalate
  • Support campaign execution logistics including timelines, asset coordination, and workflow management

Reporting & Data

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and pipeline views in Salesforce for the marketing team
  • Coordinate with Marketo and CRM stakeholders to ensure campaign data flows are clean and reliable
  • Support data integrity efforts across marketing and sales reporting
  • Pull and format campaign performance data for stakeholder reporting

Budget & Financial Operations

  • Manage marketing budget tracking, purchase order processing, and invoice management
  • Monitor spend pacing across campaigns and initiatives, flagging variances early
  • Maintain clean, accurate records so leadership has real-time visibility into marketing spend

Vendor Coordination & SOW Management

  • Coordinate vendor relationships including SOW management, payment processing, and deliverable tracking
  • Manage branded merchandise coordination with external vendors from ordering through fulfillment
  • Track vendor contracts and renewal timelines to avoid lapses or unplanned spend

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in marketing operations, project management, or a similar coordination-heavy role
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, purchase orders, and vendor invoicing
  • Working familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms — comfortable pulling reports, building dashboards, and managing list views
  • Strong organizational and project management skills — comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel/Google Sheets, project management platforms)
  • B2B marketing or agency experience preferred

  • Communicates operational status clearly and concisely — no one has to chase this person for updates

Measure of Success

  • By 30 days: understand budget tracking processes, vendor relationships, and reporting workflows
  • By 60 days: independently managing PO/invoice processing and pulling standard reports
  • By 90 days: budget tracking is clean and current; vendor coordination is running smoothly; cross-functional teams view this person as a reliable operational partner
