US Public Affairs Specialist

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Why work at Nebius Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 1400 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

The role

As a US Public Affairs Specialist, you’ll coordinate, execute, and support the day-to-day government relations, communications, and community engagement activities. You’ll work across verticals and locations, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to transition quickly, and flexibility in the workday. Reporting directly to the VP of US Public Affairs, you’ll be external facing, take meetings with stakeholders, develop and approve content, coordinate activities with in-market peers, identify and surface challenges quickly, and help carry-out the business’ broad external engagement strategy.

This is a remote position, with some travel to data center markets required.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate Activities Internally & Externally. Serve as an intermediary to coordinate activities internally across markets and verticals (i.e. communications, IR, infrastructure, GTM) and externally among consulting firms. Support VP of Public Affairs to deliver on engagement strategies, spot and clear bottlenecks, elevate challenges, and ensure activities remain on schedule.
  • Track, Assess, Action Engagement Strategy. Help design and action external engagement efforts alongside in-market peers to support broad business objectives. Understand and coordinate local actions to ensure consistency in approach.
  • Engage External Stakeholders. Develop relationships and engage with external stakeholders nationally, regionally and locally to advance the company’s external objectives. Participate in evaluating and executing community benefits plans, including assessing grant applications and identifying areas of community need. May include direct media pitching and reporter background engagement, as needed.
  • Support Trade Association Activities. Actively participate alongside colleagues in company trade associations to track policies, contribute to industry activities, and represent the company among peers.
  • Develop Internal & External-Facing Content. Create internal and external facing content, as well as work with outside partners to provide direction and review materials, including presentations, fact sheets, blogs, meeting briefs, etc.

We expect you to have

  • Strong proficiency in project management, and confidence coordinating activities internally and externally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: you can explain concepts to non-technical audiences and write executive summaries that internal leaders can actually use.
  • Experience managing “up” to anticipate needs, collaborate on solutions, and keep work flowing efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and data quality mindset: you notice inconsistencies, validate definitions, and build checks instead of relying on hope.
  • Experience navigating competing priorities and demands, to keep activities moving, triage challenges, and rapidly transition among topics.
  • Solutions-focused mindset: Understand challenges, assess the situation, and collaboratively work towards the solution rather than admire the problem.

Salary range (dependent on experience) $102,700 - $154,080

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nebius.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment that values initiative and innovation.

We’re growing and expanding our products every day. If you’re up to the challenge and are excited about AI and ML as much as we are, join us!
