- * Position Overview We are seeking a Design Assistant who is resourceful, organized, and creatively driven. You’ll support the Principal Designer in all phases of the design process—from initial concept through installation. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced boutique environment, loves systems as much as style, and finds joy in the details that make design projects run seamlessly. Your work will directly expand the Principal’s creative bandwidth, enabling the firm to serve more clients while maintaining exceptional quality and personalized attention.
- * Key Responsibilities
- * Design Support
- Source and track furnishings, lighting, materials, and finishes aligned with the firm’s *luxury wellness aesthetic.* • Create and maintain design presentations, digital boards, and FF&E specifications.
- Assist with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit drawings, elevations, and layout updates.
- Help prepare client presentations, proposals, and design documentation.
- * Project Coordination
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, samples, and product information.
- Track orders and logistics in collaboration with the Operations Lead (EA/Bookkeeper).
- Attend installations and site visits; take detailed measurements, notes, and photographs.
- Manage and organize the materials library, both physical and digital.
- * Administrative & Team Support
- Maintain project binders, schedules, and Studio Designer data entry.
- Support photo shoots and client styling as needed.
- Contribute to social media and marketing projects when time allows.
