About the Role

SafeRide Health is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead data and analytics initiatives that drive business insights and operational excellence. This role blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to transform complex data into actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization. You will play a key role in advancing SafeRide’s mission by improving how we leverage data to reduce barriers to care and enhance outcomes for the populations we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and/or analytics engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Define and execute an analytics roadmap aligned with SafeRide’s strategic goals
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Oversee data modeling, reporting, dashboard development, and advanced analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality, scalable data pipelines
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate insights that drive business performance and decision-making
  • Establish and enforce best practices in data governance, reporting, and visualization
  • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and business processes through analytics and system design enhancements
  • Monitor and optimize performance of queries, dashboards, and reporting systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-related roles
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership or people management capacity
  • Strong experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Redshift, Teradata, or similar)
  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Hive, Hadoop ecosystem)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through analytics or BI initiatives
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
  • Strong expertise in BI tools and OLAP technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE)
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java, etc.)
  • Experience across multiple database systems and data platforms
  • Strong understanding of system design and scalable analytics architecture
  • Experience in query optimization and performance tuning
