The Momofuku Goods Manager, Amazon & Marketplaces owns the commercial performance of Momofuku Goods across Amazon, retailer.com, and third-party retail marketplaces.

In partnership with the Director of eCommerce, this role is accountable for channel revenue, contribution margin, advertising efficiency, inventory health, and digital shelf excellence across Amazon, Instacart, Target.com, and future digital retail platforms.

This role drives profitable growth through disciplined advertising, PDP excellence, operational rigor, and strategic promotional execution.

Salary Description: $90,000 - $115,000 annually + bonus + company stock options

Responsibilities:

CHANNEL REVENUE & PROFITABILITY OWNERSHIP

  • Partner with Director of eCommerce to set and deliver Amazon and marketplace revenue targets
  • Own contribution margin performance, balancing top-line growth with advertising efficiency and trade investment
  • Monitor ACOS, TACOS, margin impact, organic rank, and pricing integrity
  • Identify scalable growth levers while protecting profitability

AMAZON STRATEGY & OPTIMIZATION

  • Own Amazon Seller/Vendor Central operations including catalog health, compliance, Buy Box performance, and pricing
  • Lead PDP optimization strategy (copy, imagery, A+ content, keywords) to improve conversion and organic rank
  • Manage product launches end-to-end within Amazon ecosystem
  • Continuously refine keyword strategy and content hierarchy to increase discoverability

PAID ADVERTISING & EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT

  • Work with VP, Paid Media & Measurement, develop and optimize Amazon advertising strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP (as applicable)
  • Perform disciplined bid, budget, and keyword optimizations
  • Scale profitable campaigns and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Build clear reporting frameworks to track paid vs. organic contribution

INVENTORY & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Develop demand forecasts and partner with Operations to ensure inventory allocation aligns with sales velocity
  • Monitor sell-through, weeks of cover, and stock risk to avoid outages or excess
  • Coordinate FBA/3PL flows and shipment planning
  • Surface operational risks early and recommend corrective actions

RETAIL MARKETPLACE & RETAILER.COM MANAGEMENT

  • Own execution across Instacart, Target.com, and additional retail digital platforms
  • Ensure accurate content syndication, pricing compliance, promotional readiness, and retailer.com digital shelf standards
  • Align digital retail presence with broader commercial and trade strategies
  • Evaluate platform-specific growth opportunities and risks

PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY & TRADE ALIGNMENT

  • Execute channel-specific promotional plans aligned with established promotional frameworks and margin guardrails
  • Partner cross-functionally to align Amazon and retail marketplace support with broader campaign moments
  • Evaluate the profitability impact of trade investments and digital promotions

ANALYTICS & COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE

  • Develop reporting across revenue, margin, advertising efficiency, and operational KPIs
  • Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and emerging marketplace tools
  • Bring proactive recommendations for new tactics, tools, and channel expansion

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP

  • Collaborate with Paid Media, Marketing, Operations, BI, and broader Commercial teams to ensure alignment across launches and promotions
  • Translate data into clear recommendations and prioritized action plans
