Business Development Manager – Event Video & Display Systems

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of a new video product line within the live events industry. This role focuses on developing new business, building relationships, and driving adoption of LED display solutions across festivals, municipalities, tours, sports, and corporate events. Ideal candidates bring strong industry connections, technical understanding of video systems, and a proven ability to generate and close new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for video and LED display products
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across live events, municipalities, tours, and corporate clients
• Build and manage relationships with production companies, AV rental firms, event organizers, and agencies
• Generate leads through networking, trade shows, referrals, and direct outreach
• Collaborate with internal teams to align product positioning, pricing, and client needs
• Track market trends and competitive activity to support sales strategy
• Drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in live events, production, AV, or related industries
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
• Strong understanding of video systems, LED displays, or event technology
• Established network within production companies, municipalities, or event organizations preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
