Senior Android Developer

This is a remote position.

We have developed an Android Application and a cloud-based SaaS platform as a turnkey solution for telehealth programs. We are looking for a Senior Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. Senior Android developers will be working with our team of talented developers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications and to improve application performance and fix bugs. Work with a highly experienced mentor and fairly complex live project with tons of learning. You will work closely with other app development and technical teams. We are looking for High Energy Individuals who would like to explore the possibilities in willing to work on and learn Android applications.

  • Be part of a very dynamic mobile app creation process based on Android and SQL Lite et al

  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Intelehealth Android platform

  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design new features

  • Work with outside data sources and APIs

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including corner cases, usability, and general reliability

Requirements

Educational Qualification: Bachelors/Masters degree (BSc, MSc, MCA. BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT

Overall Skill Requirement:
  • Strong programming knowledge on Android technology Java, React Native, Material design, JSON, XML, Room DB, Kotlin, live data, Jetpack components and MVVM are mandatory.
  • Understanding of the Android Core Concepts like Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, Broadcast Receivers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of REST API is a must.
  • Working knowledge of React Native.
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile orientation and architecture.
  • Must have basic knowledge of XML and building layouts in Android
  • Must be open to learning new technologies and concepts
  • Any contributions to the Open Source community is highly desirable
  • Good oral & written communication skills
