Customer Service Representative – Billing Department

*Location Requirement: Colorado Springs through Pueblo Area Only*

Start Date: Monday, April 27th

Pay: $17.00/hour Training Schedule: 8:00am-5:00PM MST Monday-Friday Work Schedule (Post-Training): 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM MST Monday to Friday

SparkLight is looking for friendly, motivated individuals in the Colorado Springs area to join our Billing Customer Service team!

Though this position is remote, candidates must live in the Colorado Springs area for equipment delivery and potential team meetups.

Equipment Provided

To get you started quickly, you’ll use your own PC, laptop, or tablet during the first week of training. After that, we’ll ship all the necessary company equipment directly to you.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment processing, account adjustments, and service upgrades or downgrades.
  • Clearly explain charges, billing cycles, proration, and payment methods.
  • Resolve issues quickly and accurately, striving for one-call resolution.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and data entry in our billing system.
  • Meet performance goals in customer satisfaction, call metrics, and quality standards.
  • Stay up to date on all products and services to better support our customers.
  • Follow company procedures and use sales/service techniques in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus (call center experience is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
