DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and scalability of our applications, supporting the companys mission to deliver innovative solutions in the Retail-Tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, primarily on AWS.

CI/CD Pipelines

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process across multiple environments.
  • Monitor and improve pipeline efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to automate testing and ensure high-quality releases.

Monitoring & Optimization

  • Implement and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure system health and performance.
  • Continuously optimize infrastructure and applications for cost and performance.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies (e.g., ISO, GDPR).

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Strong experience in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated and eager to stay updated on DevOps trends and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or equivalent.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with database management and optimization.
