Senior Director, People Partner

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, business-minded People Team leader to drive excellence in how we attract, develop, and engage our talent across Argano’s Global Business Units (GBUs).

This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to BU Presidents and leadership teams, translating business priorities into actionable People strategies and operational plans. They will lead our BU-facing People Business Partners and collaborate closely with the Centers of Excellence (COEs)—including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Culture, and People Operations—to design and deliver scalable, world-class People programs.

The ideal candidate combines strategic insight with operational discipline and a deep belief in the power of culture, leadership, and employee experience to accelerate business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic People partner to BU Presidents and senior business leaders, aligning People strategy with growth, performance, and transformation goals.
  • Lead and develop the BU-facing People Business Partners, ensuring strong alignment with business needs and effective collaboration with the People COEs.
  • Understand and anticipate business priorities, workforce trends, and organizational challenges to proactively design People solutions that enable success.
  • Partner with COEs to deploy impactful programs in talent management, leadership development, succession planning, total rewards, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Champion Argano’s culture and ASPIRE values, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across all BUs.
  • Advise on organization design, change management, and leadership effectiveness, helping teams adapt and thrive in a high-growth, acquisition-driven environment.
  • Use data and insights to measure program effectiveness, drive continuous improvement, and demonstrate impact on business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with executive and functional leaders to build workforce plans and talent strategies that scale with Argano’s rapid growth trajectory.

Who You Are

  • A proven People leader with deep experience in strategic HR business partnership and leadership within complex, global or matrixed organizations.
  • Known for your strategic acumen, business fluency, and ability to connect People initiatives directly to business performance.
  • A trusted advisor who balances empathy and accountability, with a strong track record of building credibility with senior leaders.
  • A collaborative operator who works seamlessly across functional boundaries to design and deliver integrated People solutions.
  • Passionate about employee experience, leadership capability, and organizational culture as levers for performance.
  • Experience in technology, consulting, or professional services strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including management of HRBPs or HR functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior executives and driving business-aligned People initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
