Data Analyst I
Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization focused on advancing patient care, research, teaching, and community service. They are seeking a motivated Data Analyst I to assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sets within the MGB Tumor Cartography Core, contributing to the acceleration of cancer research through advanced analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Writes and runs basic queries as needed
- Assists in maintaining existing reporting systems
- Contributes to presentations to key stakeholders
- Works with senior analysts to design, maintain, and distribute reports
- Learn leading practice analysis methodologies
- Conduct continuous analysis of current performance and accurately forecast data trends
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree Analytics required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
- Data Analysis Experience 0-1 year preferred
- Building proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and data sets
- Proficient in time management and project management skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions within the scope of job responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and technical aptitude skills
- Participate in dealing with all levels of employees /management and building proficient relationships with teams and all organizational customers
- Able to find and define problems, understand business impact, identify solutions, and provide recommendations for corrective action
