Interior Designer 1
Vida Design Inc. is seeking an Interior Designer 1 to assist with the design process from start to finish, learning construction documentation and Vida standards. The role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and strong organizational skills to bring innovative designs to life while supporting client meetings and preparing design materials.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design process from start to finish under your Design Manager’s leadership, from sketches to 3D models
- Assist in construction documentation (CDs) and picking up redlines to maintain design integrity across all phases
- Work closely with designers and Managers to ensure everything is coordinated and on point
- Keep your finger on the pulse of new materials, finishes, lighting, and design trends to help shape fresh ideas
- Support client meetings by assisting with presentations and preparing design materials
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in interior design
- Fundamental knowledge working in design software like Revit, CAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and coordination tools like Smartsheet and Bluebeam
- Understanding of interior construction, building codes, and accessibility standards
