The California Department of Insurance is the consumer protection agency for the largest insurance marketplace in the nation. They are seeking an Associate Management Auditor responsible for conducting complex performance and fiscal audits of county district attorney's offices that receive insurance fraud grants.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conducting complex performance and/or fiscal audits of county district attorney's offices that receive insurance fraud grants
  • Utilizing applicable laws and regulations, grant award agreements, and Grant Application guidelines to determine compliance
  • Conducting all audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)

Skills

  • Experience and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to perform audits in accordance with professional standards
  • Conducting complex performance and/or fiscal audits of county district attorney's offices that receive insurance fraud grants
  • Utilizing applicable laws and regulations, grant award agreements, and Grant Application guidelines to determine compliance
  • Conducting audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)
  • Background Check and Fingerprinting Required
  • Attach all required documents to verify that you meet the minimum qualifications for this position (i.e., degree, transcript, license, certificate)
