Temporary Associate End User Specialist

Credit Union of Colorado is a financial institution seeking a Temporary Associate End User Specialist to provide frontline technical support and system administration. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, troubleshooting installation, configuration, and performance issues
  • Respond to chat, email, and help desk calls, documenting and tracking tickets in the IT service management system
  • Assist users with hardware and software installations, ensuring proper configuration
  • Support audio/video equipment in conference and board rooms
  • Assist with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Webex administration
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, using asset management tools
  • Track and manage inventory, procurement, and disposal of end-user computing devices to ensure proper lifecycle management
  • Ensure that IT assets are properly assigned, maintained, and audited in compliance with company policies
  • Manage and document user account creation, modification, and termination processes
  • Update and distribute process and procedure documentation to reflect system changes and best practices
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
  • Work with IT teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless support across the organization
  • Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area while safeguarding sensitive data
  • Ensure compliance with BSA, FACTA, AML, and other federal and state regulations, reporting any suspicious activity
  • Deliver exceptional service by addressing members’ and coworkers’ needs promptly and professionally
  • Uphold the credit union’s professional reputation and confidentiality standards
  • Execute special projects as assigned by management

Skills

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six plus months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Ability to think in terms of computer logic patterns
  • Ability to learn basic job control and the practices, principles and techniques of computer operations and data processing
  • Understanding of Credit Union operations and information output needs
  • Ability to apply verbal and interpersonal skills that develop member confidence, respect and trust in Credit Union of Colorado and develop cooperative relationships with all levels of people throughout the organization
  • Exceptional customer/member service skills
  • Must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within one (1) year of hire
  • Microsoft Windows and Office 365
  • Cisco Phone/Call Manager and Networking
  • Enterprise Audio/Video support a plus
  • PC/Laptop Hardware (Dell)
  • Financial Core System Management - Symitar/JHA/ProfitStars a plus
  • Recommended Certifications: A+, Network+, MSCA
