[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cortex is an Engineering Operations Platform that helps organizations improve their operational maturity and reduce developer friction. The Business Development Representative will focus on outbound pipeline generation and generating qualified opportunities while collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Hit and exceed monthly quota
- Deliver qualified meetings and generate sales qualified opportunities with an emphasis on quality
- Accurately forecast weekly, monthly performance results
- Collaborate with teammates on the BDR team to continually improve systems, tools and processes
- Collaborate with AE’s to multi-thread and generate new outbound business opportunities
Skills
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a sales related environment
- Strong performance track record
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience with Outreach.io
- Solid fundamental skills in cold calling, prospecting, researching, copywriting and opportunity qualification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
