Business Development Associate
Guidepoint is a leading research enablement platform designed to advance understanding and empower our clients’ decision-making process. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to expand their reach with new and existing clients by securing new relationships and generating leads. The role involves developing industry knowledge, conducting outbound prospecting, and collaborating with the client service team.
Responsibilities
- Develop a working knowledge of industry coverage and the competitive landscape
- Partner with management to identify top-tier new business opportunities based on strategic business development criteria and targets
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads and lead introductory/exploratory calls with prospects
- Meet designated sales targets using a strategic and thoughtful process designed to partner with clients and add value to their process
- Onboard new users effectively
- Work closely with the client service team to collect feedback on open and closed projects
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
- Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
- A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
