Experienced Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative – Fluid Sealing Products and Precision Components Distribution

At arenaflex, we are a leading distributor of fluid sealing products and precision components to the manufacturing and MRO marketplace, providing a complete line of fluid sealing products, protective closures, fasteners, bushings, shim, and key stock. With four locations across North America, our customers can trust on-time delivery with the ability to ship and receive from all international centers. We are currently seeking a reliable and resourceful Customer Service Representative (Inside Sales) to join our dynamic team in Lawrenceville, Georgia office! As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical product information, cost quotations, stock status, and delivery information to customers in a designated territory. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills, while also developing revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting arenaflex's entire line of products and programs within assigned territories
  • Managing incoming customer inquiries, identifying customer needs and requirements
  • Supplying customers with all available literature and knowledge on different products that may work for their intended application
  • Aiding and guiding customers by demonstrating an understanding of their business needs using knowledge and experience within the industry
  • Creating quotes and orders, contacting customers, and maintaining positive, long-term relationships
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure products are prepared in accordance with customer requests and delivery dates
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager to develop goals and monitor and track KPIs to deliver on projected results
  • Tracking and recording daily activities and ensuring data is accurately managed within the company's database
  • Identifying and developing new relationships to grow the business and assist the company in expanding while maintaining existing relationships

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Business or Administration or equivalent (asset)
  • Minimum two (2) years of sales experience, with inside sales experience being preferable
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Previous experience in a distribution environment (asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work well independently and effectively with a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to consistently represent the company in a professional manner
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • A base salary of $50,000.00 per year
