Human Resources Manager| Central Bergen County, NJ | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite

Role Overview CRD Careers is seeking a Human Resources Manager to help build and lead a high-impact HR function within a fast-paced legal environment. This is a hybrid role based in Central Bergen County, NJ (North Bergen area) with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You’ll partner closely with leadership to strengthen people operations, ensure compliance, and elevate the employee experience as the organization grows. Compensation & Work Model

• Top-tier compensation: $125,000–$140,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Location: North Bergen, NJ (Central Bergen County area)

What You’ll Do

• Own and evolve core HR operations, policies, and programs across the employee lifecycle
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness
• Drive recruiting and onboarding processes to support business growth and hiring needs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state (NJ), and local employment laws; maintain accurate HR documentation and records
• Lead and improve HR processes including benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS/workflow optimization
• Develop and implement training, coaching, and engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and retention
• Manage sensitive employee matters with discretion, consistency, and sound judgment
• Create scalable HR practices and metrics to support a maturing organization

What We’re Looking For

• 0–5 years of progressive HR experience (HR generalist/HR manager experience welcomed)
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence across levels of an organization
• Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment law fundamentals (experience in a legal/professional services environment is a plus)
• Strong communication skills with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
• High integrity and comfort handling confidential information
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a hands-on environment
