Experienced Customer Support Team Lead – Food and Beverage Operations

As a key player in this team, you'll drive food and beverage services, including inventory management, stock accuracy, sanitation, display, pricing, and special labeling processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

  • Gain knowledge of customer service essentials and experience building a customer-first culture in your team
  • Learn about Food and Beverage business essentials: division sales trends, newness and quality, stock management, customer shopping patterns, and pricing and promotions procedures
  • Develop skills in planning department(s) daily/weekly responsibilities to support business needs and achieve sales objectives
  • Experience leading a team of hourly colleagues, including skills in communication, training, assessment, and retention

As a Food and Beverage Team Lead, no two days will be the same, but a typical day will likely involve the following responsibilities:

  • Understand sales objectives, plan, and execute daily/weekly responsibilities to meet store and office sales objectives and customer engagement. This includes planning food service initiatives, corrections, sales plans, inspections, promotions, and cost change responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of sales floor operations, including inventory management, stock accuracy, sanitation, display, pricing, and special labeling processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase team productivity
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes open communication, respect, and collaboration

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or food service environment

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing team productivity
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or food service environment

  • Experience with inventory management, stock accuracy, and sanitation procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
