Associate Manager, Hedge Fund Accounting (East Coast Region)

As an Associate Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely accounting for our hedge fund clients. Managing hedge fund accounting processes: The Associate Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting for our hedge fund clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting. Maintaining financial records: This role will require the Associate Manager to maintain detailed and organized financial records for all hedge fund accounts, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements. Collaborating with team members: The Associate Manager will work closely with other members of the hedge fund accounting team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in all accounting processes. Providing exceptional client service: As a key point of contact for hedge fund clients, the Associate Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality and responsive service, addressing any client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Monitoring and analyzing financial data: The Associate Manager will be responsible for regularly reviewing and analyzing financial data to identify any discrepancies or errors and take appropriate corrective action. Ensuring compliance: This role will require the Associate Manager to stay current on all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance in all hedge fund accounting processes. Training and mentoring junior team members: The Associate Manager will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles. Participating in special projects: The Associate Manager may be tasked with participating in special projects, such as implementing new accounting systems or processes, to improve overall efficiency and accuracy. Attention to detail: The Associate Manager must have exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial records and reports.
