Job Summary Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team for a part-time weekend typing job. As part of this role, you will be responsible for accurately typing documents, data entry, and transcription tasks. This position offers the flexibility of working from home, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to our efficient data processing systems. Key Responsibilities • * Accurately type, proofread, and format various documents based on provided instructions. • * Handle a variety of data entry tasks, including transcribing reports, correspondence, and other written materials. • * Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with attention to detail and high accuracy. • * Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring that all information is easy to retrieve and well-organized. • * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding task progress and any issues that arise. • * Follow all company guidelines and confidentiality agreements related to the handling of sensitive information. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum of 50 words per minute). • * Proficiency with basic office software and applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.). • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • * Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail. • * Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. • * Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when dealing with sensitive information. • * High school diploma or equivalent (college students welcome). • Experience • * Prior experience in data entry, typing, or transcription is preferred but not required. • * Experience working in a remote environment is a plus. • Working Hours • * This is a part-time position with weekend shifts only. • * Expected working hours: Saturday and Sunday, 4-6 hours per day (flexible within weekends). • * Must be available to work at least 8-12 hours per weekend. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Strong typing and data entry skills. • * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. • * Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. • * Familiarity with online communication platforms such as Zoom or Slack. • * Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to remote work tools. • Benefits • * Competitive pay with weekly or bi-weekly payment options. • * Flexible working hours, allowing you to balance other responsibilities. • * Remote work opportunity – no commuting required. • * Opportunity for professional development and future roles within the company. • * A supportive and collaborative work environment. • Why Join Us? • * Work-Life Balance: Progressive Technology values your time.
