Job Summary

As an Experienced LPN - Occupational Health Nurse, you'll be responsible for overseeing the administrative, clinical, and operational aspects of our Occupational Health program. This includes:

  • CARE COORDINATION: Supporting and coordinating care for onsite and near-site model coordinators, including community resources and program development.
  • WORKER'S COMPENSATION: Managing worker's compensation cases, facilitating referrals, and ensuring appropriate care and prescriptions.
  • OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE: Evaluating work injuries, returning employees to work, and serving as a subject matter expert for program development.
  • MEDICAL MANAGEMENT: Evaluating and treating injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions in an efficient and professional manner.
  • PREVENTION: Promoting wellness campaigns, identifying prevention and health opportunities, and educating employees on safe work environments and prevention.
  • ADMINISTRATIVE: Managing medical supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and charting within electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and manage the administrative, clinical, and operational aspects of the Occupational Health program.

  • Manage worker's compensation cases, facilitating referrals, and ensuring appropriate care and prescriptions.
  • Evaluate work injuries, returning employees to work, and serving as a subject matter expert for program development.
  • Evaluate and treat injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions in an efficient and professional manner.

  • Manage medical supplies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and chart within electronic health records.

Essential Qualifications

* LPN license with active license in Georgia, in good standing, preferably multi-state licensure.

  • At least 2 or more years of nursing experience.
  • CPR Certificate - American Heart Association.
  • Electronic Health Record and computer skills required.
  • Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge and experience with occupational health nursing.
  • Knowledge of recordable and non-recordable accidents.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
