Experienced Customer Care Advocate – Insurance Policy Support

We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Advocate to join our team for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Cary, NC. As a Customer Care Advocate, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our life insurance policies.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer requests via telephone, providing excellent service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. - Process transactions, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. - Discuss various topics with customers, including: - Enrolling or changing their life insurance amount - Confirming or changing beneficiaries - Policy provisions (how policy works, exclusions, etc.) - Continuing coverage when retired or leaving the employer - Status of customer requests - Billing inquiries - Work under immediate supervision, reporting to an immediate supervisor. - Participate in virtual training and coaching sessions, using video conferencing tools. - Work from home, requiring high-speed internet (500-650 kbps) and a quiet, secure workspace.

Key Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required. - 1-3 years of experience in customer service or a related field preferred. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer requests simultaneously. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and guidelines. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field. - Knowledge of life insurance policies and procedures. - Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software applications and tools. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
