Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, verifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Understand and identify customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
• Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
• Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance at all times to regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization

Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration)

• Effective interpersonal skills, including:

+ Proven ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing + Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient computer skills, including:

+ Solid data entry with a high accuracy rate + Email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications

• Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills in logistics and supply chain management
