Job Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a team that drives a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You will assist in using data to create, present, and make recommendations for new ideas and projects, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
  • Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
  • Assist in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
  • Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
  • Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
  • Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
  • May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree and a strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze critical measures of data with attention to detail and accuracy. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively present ideas and results to various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Experience with PowerPoint and ability to build presentations for verbal communications
  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a strong support/team-oriented environment
  • Ability to commit to responsibilities and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
