Key Responsibilities:

• Answer 70-90 incoming phone calls per day from customers and identify the type of assistance needed, providing personalized support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Make outbound calls to customers regarding medical referrals, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and resources to navigate their healthcare journey.
• Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems and ensuring that customer interactions are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist customers with obtaining prescribed medical equipment and supplies, providing guidance and support to ensure that they receive the necessary resources to manage their healthcare needs.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage, obtaining insurance authorization and ensuring that customers receive the necessary support to access their healthcare benefits.
• Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues, providing timely and effective solutions to customer problems.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in a call center setting.
• Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
