Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative – Automotive Warranty Coverage and Claims Support

We're seeking a bright, outgoing, and energetic Claims Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. As a key member of our claims department, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving claims efficiently, and providing accurate information to our customers.

Job Summary

As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers, agents, dealers, and internal staff to resolve claims and provide information on our various levels of contract coverage. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and provide a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze information in our Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts.

  • Request and distribute internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes.
  • Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
  • Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment.
  • Be interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner, requiring camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Key to Success

* Minimum High School graduate or GED is required.

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to problem solve and multitask.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers.
  • Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone.
  • Automotive Service Department experience is preferred, but not required. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers are also encouraged to apply.
