Responsibilities
As a Medical Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting patients effectively by clarifying their questions and ensuring they receive the information they need
- Problem-solving champion: working through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary
- Data entry specialist: maintaining accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system
- Connecting callers seamlessly: routing incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a call center environment, preferably in medical claims and/or insurance
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or transcripts
- Language: Bi-lingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Software: Epic Software experience is highly preferred
- Technical: Ability to work from home with a quiet setting, high-speed internet (50 Mbps download/20 Mbps upload speed), and a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer
- Certifications: Ability to undergo a criminal background check and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC)
