Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient customer-facing systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional groups, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient customer-facing systems using Java and Java Enterprise development frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Work closely with business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve arenaflex's customer systems

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java and Java Enterprise development
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient customer-facing systems
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks, including Spring and REST
• Experience with database design, data access, and data modeling
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools, such as JUnit and Mockito
