Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk / Typist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards and your ability to move through varying programs
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers
  • Filling in spreadsheets with potentially large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
  • Updating existing data
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk (preferred but not required)
  • Fast typing skills (at least 40 words per minute)
  • A level of comfort with word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Good command of English (both oral and written) and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
