Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor with arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Meeting client turnaround times by efficiently and effectively processing claims and authorizations
  • Navigating imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between various claim types and following established data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
  • Performing quality reviews of team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Requirements:

To be a successful candidate, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a healthcare-related field

  • Knowledge of insurance claims and authorization processes
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
  • Experience with quality assurance and quality control processes
